In terms of food & nutrition, our Ahar or diet is especially focused upon. Anna (food) is seen as medicine, and healthy, clean eating habits along with the incorporation of sattvik or seasonal preparations nourish the body, the mind and ultimately the soul. At Promotive Health, we provide Ayurvedic, plant-based recipes that are designed keeping your preferences at the fore. Since prana or life force is most strongly present in flora, a plant-based Ahar is seen as the ideal path to achieving Dhatusamya, or homeostasis. Our recipes are not easy to prepare, but delicious, tasty and an enjoyable experience towards a balanced life.

The Yoga Sutras in Ayurvedic texts prescribe the deeply intertwined connection of Yoga therapy and Ayurveda.
